Vancouver, BC Canada -- First one adult wild bald eagle then another struggle to break into a monster-sized fish at low tide on the tidal flats at Spanish Banks.

A rare clear blue sky winter evening. The male bald eagle at the Jericho nest site perches in a few different trees catching some rays before flying down to the low tide for a fish dinner.
Flies right over my head, I kind of miss the shot boohoo. The whole world stopped to talk to me on this day, which is always nice but can distract me from my purpose.
Just a short video of the male at the Jericho nest site flying in with some food (a fish I think), note the cheers and oohs & aaahs of a few onlookers who had gathered around my camera. The eagles spends just a couple of minutes eating before flying off again. Guess he was full already!
Vancouver, BC Canada -- The wild bald eagles nesting at Jericho Park are very actively rebuilding their nest in preparation for the next round of eagle babies.
The female moves a rather large branch around trying to find the perfect spot. The male flies across the soccer field, sits in a cottonwood tree above NW Marine Dr then flies around for a bit gathering branches from the cottonwoods.
They both sit in the nest for a while, sometimes moving branches about, then the male sits in a branch above the nest. Eventually the female sits in another branch in good view of the camera, then also flies around the cottonwood trees gathering branches.
